A new year can only mean one thing… Nappies! Or for any US readers, Diapers. Yes folks, my first freebie of the year was a box of 132 Pampers which will be used once my newborn is big enough to slide into them.

I won’t add a pic as I’m sure you know what they look like.
‘Pampers always had a tendency to leak once my first daughter reached size 3, but everything before then was great – absorbent, comfy, problem free. After size 3 we moved to pull up nappies because she was such a wriggler – changing time had become a war zone so pull ups were like the cavalry coming in, riding on the back of absorbent, bullet-proof horses. My youngest is only a couple of months old and is much more placid, so once she reaches size 4 these bad boys will come in handy. Keep to the big name brands to avoid wet, nasty accidents. That final statement was not intended to sound like a threat…’
Well, that was it for January, a bit of a dry month if you’ll pardon the pun. But February on the other hand was the wettest month in a loong time, as you’ll see in my next post. What?
